The short version

GroundHoppr is designed to collect as little as possible. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no sale of data — ever. Your game progress lives on your device, not on our servers.

What we store on your device

• Game progress, scores, streaks and settings — in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device.
• Clearing site data resets everything; there is no server-side copy to delete.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, we use cookieless, privacy-respecting measurement (Umami, Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics). Events are aggregated and anonymous: no names, no emails, no precise locations. Your guesses are aggregated into distance buckets only — we never transmit exact pin coordinates.

Advertising

We may introduce ads (e.g. Google AdSense) in clearly-marked slots. Ad providers may set cookies subject to your consent choices; our consent layer loads them only after you decide. The game itself stays ad-free during play.

Your rights
